Spookley The Square Pumpkin is a favorite around here. As soon as it hits the tv it hits the dvr. John wanted Spookley for his last Halloween lunch for the year and asked for his friend Boris the Bat to tag along for the ride.
Spookley is turkey on sundried tomato tortilla bread. Boris is monterey cheese. Candy corn, yogurt with sprinkles & Create-a-Bug fruit snacks on the side. We're hoping for a spider so he can create Edgar, Allan or Poe ;)

I use AmeriColor food gel and paint the details on with toothpicks or small paintbrushes. A lot of times for normal bread I’ll paint, then toast to get it to set/dry faster, then cut the shapes.
