To celebrate John's recent love/obsession with all things related to Neverland and Pixie Hollow, we'll be having a week-look theme of Peter Pan/Tink lunches!
Monday features Tick Tock Croc trying to, once again, devour Captain Hook!
The sandwiches are cheese on whole wheat (with an AirHead hook).
Sides are pepperoni bites, grapes, and baby carrots.
And no, Kendra, you still can't hate me.
This is so awesome! John is lucky his mom is such a dork ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Keitha! I had tons of fun with it & John even took a picture of it with his ipod so he could keep it even after he eats it tomorrow :)
DeleteHow did you color the bread?
ReplyDeleteI love it! I wish my bread art came out that nice.
I typically use AmeriColor food gels to do my coloring. I actually did a tutorial back in December that can be found here: http://johnslunchbag.blogspot.com/2011/12/story-time-friday-hallmark-jingle-all_01.html
DeleteI do admit that I put a LOT more effort into this one than I have in a while. This is a special week for us & I want to go all out as much as my patience allows :)
That is so cool!! I love Captain Hook and the croc! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! John was laughing so hard during that part of the movie when we watched it the other night I knew I had to figure out how to do it. I finally found a photo of a Hallmark ornament of all things to use!
DeleteKaren, I love this one. Super cute!! Where did you purchase your food coloring? The colors are nice and neat!
ReplyDeleteI've found the best prices on eBay, actually. JoAnn's sometimes has LorAnn gels which are also nice but I prefer the consistency of AmeriColor.
DeleteHaha! Darn it.
ReplyDeleteMy kids are huge Jake and the Neverland Pirates fans! I'll have to try this! I am going to go pin the food gel tutorial too, so I can try it sometimes. I have a ton of trouble with the food markers on bread! Thank you!
