Okay, now for my lunch for work. Again, from the most recent episode of my beloved Doctor Who. Inspiration came from Pinterest and from this clip:
The bottom section has turkey meatballs and sauce on top of tortellini and topped with a provolone Dalek. The top is a broccoli, cauliflower and carrot blend.
I love this lunch! So awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy 6 year old was bummed that it wasn't his until he saw the tutu ;)
DeletePretty Dalek , hahaha
ReplyDeleteHaha love the Ballerina Dalek, very clever.
ReplyDeleteFound you via a pintrest post that linked to your Toy Story 3 Alien How To. (can't wait to try it)
I love knowing that! Please let me know how it works out for you :)
DeleteI'm not having much luck. It seems the gel is drying or soaking into the paper. I do get some transfer but not enough to work with. I've tried Americolor and Wilton food gels. Are you using special paper?
DeleteAH HA! I *JUST* figured it out! (why yes I do stay up late doing bento experiments)... I wasn't "mooshing" the bread nearly hard enough. YAY!
DeleteOh there have been SOOOO many times when my gel dried before I could get to the mooshing part! Complicated pictures are the WORST! (Like when I did my Game of Thrones lunches. I thought I was going to scream getting all the details done before the outter lines dried!) :)
DeleteHere's my first one. I'm so excited
